About
Hey, I’m Bruce.
This is my cyberspace blog — where I document what I’m learning as I work my way deeper into cybersecurity. I’m a firm believer in learning in public: writing something down forces me to actually understand it instead of just copying a command that happened to work, and if my notes get someone else unstuck along the way, even better.
On the academic side, I hold an associate’s degree in Cybersecurity, and I’m two classes away from finishing my bachelor’s in Computer Science.
When I’m not staring at firewall logs, I’m probably being supervised by my cat — who has root on the apartment and reminds me of it daily — or rewatching Batman for the hundredth time.
Open to opportunities
I’m actively looking for roles in GRC, SOC analysis, network and security engineering, SRE / infrastructure, red team, blue-team / detection, and incident response.
If you have any opportunities to share, or you think I’d be a great fit for your team, please connect and reach out to me on LinkedIn — I’d genuinely love to hear from you.
